Does Savings Catcher compare all items on my receipt?
Savings Catcher applies to many items sold at Walmart stores. This includes:
Most groceries such as cereal, rice and cookies. Excluding: store brand items, deli, bakery and weighed items like produce and meat;
Consumable Items such as paper towels, bleach and trash bags;
Health and beauty items such as shampoo and makeup.

Savings Catcher does not currently compare:
General merchandise items, (including, but not limited to, electronics, media and gaming, toys, sporting goods, housewares, small appliances, home décor, bedding, books and magazines, apparel and shoes, jewelry, furniture, office supplies and seasonal products);
Non-branded items;
Tobacco, firearms, gasoline, tires, prescription drugs, optical and photo products and services, or products that require a service agreement such as wireless, automotive or financial products.

What is the difference between the “Savings Catcher Credit” and the “Walmart Savings”?
The “Savings Catcher Credit” is the difference between the price you paid at Walmart and the lowest advertised price for an eligible item at a local competitor. This is the difference you can get back from Savings Catcher on a Walmart Rewards eGift card. The “Walmart Savings” are savings you already gained because the price for an eligible item you bought at Walmart was lower than the advertised prices from all local competitors.

Rewards eGift Cards
How does a Walmart Rewards eGift Card work?
When you choose to transfer your Savings Catcher balance, a Walmart Rewards eGift Card will be sent to the email address connected to your account. All Savings Catcher credits will always be loaded onto the same Walmart Rewards eGift card.
To use your Walmart Rewards eGift Card, simply, print out the email with the barcode and hand it to the cashier at a Walmart store, or enter the Walmart Rewards eGift card number and pin on Walmart.com. For more information on Walmart Rewards eGift Cards, click here.

This seems like a nice program, as with anything new, it will have issues, but after everything is ironed out it’s another way to save money. Especially if you shop at Walmart a lot. Coupons don’t matter in this they are just checking advertised prices. If you want to read all the Savings catcher program details go HERE.

  1. Thankyou SO MUCH for this awesome program! It will be so time saving to just go to
    WalMart without all the newspaper ad comparisons! Whomever came up with and approved this new method are now my best friends! WalMart just keeps getting better all the time! Thanks team! From one more VERY happy customer! :)

  2. I think that this is another one of Walmarts great ideals. Because Walmart is my go to store, It’s fitting that you are offering this program, because I’m always looking to save, it’s my survivor tool.
    Thanks!

  3. I’m not that much of a internet reader to be honest but your
    blogs really nice, keep it up! I’ll go ahead
    and bookmark your website to come back later on. Many thanks

  4. Tickets include access to the paddocks so you can see all these wild and woolly vehicles and their
    equally wild and wooly race teams up close. Jogging an trustworthy advert in the local
    newspaper would also be a very good way of finding a good deal.
    When possible avoid using disposable plates, cups and utensils.
